Its building had started in 1898. The designer of this neogothic temple was the famous architect, engineer Józef Pius Dziekoński, the author of the Cathedral of St. Florian in Warsaw and Cathedral in Białystok.

The Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary monastery was built in 1705-1712 for convent brought to Kety in 1699. Bishop Kazimierz Lubienski from Cracow consecrated the church in 1714, and he put the relics of saint martyrs in the mensa.
