It is located on the area of the Bieszady National Park, at the foot of the Mala Rawka Mountain, on the hight of 930 m a.s.l. It is situated by the green trail from the Wyznianska Pass to the Mala Rawka Mountain, 900 m away from great ringway of Bieszczady. This mountain lodge was arisen in 1979.
Polica is the highest peak in the range of Polica, which is 20 km long and starts in Krowiarka pass where the range of Babia Gora has its end.

Hostel on Hala Krupowa was built in 1935 by prof Kazimierz Sosnowski and was then called Hostel "Pod Polica".It is located between the ranges of Beskid Zywiecki and Beskid Makowski near the villages of Zawoja, Jordanow and Zubrzyca.
Babia Gora (literally Old Wives' or Witches' Mountain) is a mountain range situated in the Western Beskidy Mountains. Gentle from the south, steep from the north, Babia Gora is home to bear, lynx, wolf and other species as well as to unique at this altitude alpine flora.
Szpiglasowa Przelecz (Szpiglasowa Pass) is located 2110 m asl. It divides Szpiglasowy Wierch and Miedziane Mountain. It is available for tourists, and constitutes one of the two trails connecting the Valley of Five Polish Ponds and the Valley of Morskie Oko.
