Castle of the Teutonic Order in Malbork is one of the sites on World Heritage List. This 13th-century fortified monastery was substantially enlarged and embellished after 1309, when the seat of the Grand Master moved from Venice to Malbork. The castle is a particularly fine example of a medieval brick castle.
