Slowinski National Park is situated on Baltic Coast, between the towns of Leba and Rowy in Pomeranian Voivodship. Northern boundary of the park is made by seashore, on the length of 32.5 kilometers.

Park owns its name to the Slavic tribe of Slowincy, who used to live in this swampy, difficult to reach area. The Slowincy tribe does not exist any longer. In the village of Kluki there is an open air museum in which several aspects of their everyday life and culture are presented.
